Our development company, dx/dt LLC, has acquired the historic Clipper Mine property on Upper Henderson Road. This is an important milestone in the continued development of North Star Grand Lodge and in our long-term infrastructure planning for the Upper Henderson corridor.
Several unique characteristics of the property drove the acquisition: its proximity to the evolving NSGL campus, its historic underground tunnel system extending approximately 500 feet underground, the presence of a former U.S. Government seismic monitoring facility, and access to significant groundwater resources.
This property represents an exceptional opportunity to thoughtfully integrate engineering, infrastructure, and environmental stewardship. Our objective is not simply to develop property, but to build infrastructure that serves the project responsibly while creating opportunities that may benefit the surrounding community over the long term.
Among the possibilities we are evaluating is a community water system serving NSGL and, potentially, neighboring properties. We will share more as engineering work progresses.
The Clipper Mine property has a remarkable history. We believe its next chapter should reflect careful planning, sound engineering, environmental responsibility, and respect for the surrounding community.
